Ready, set, sell
The owners of three Bay Area landscape centers came to Orca for assistance in preparing for the sale of the businesses. Orca marshalled internal and external resources to best prepare and position the companies for sale. Once they were internally ready, Orca connected the team to strategic acquirer SiteOne Landscape Supply, who was eager to add these entities to their 400 plus store holdings.

At Orca’s recommendation, the owners invested time and resources in assuring that the financial and legal records were in good shape. A clear look at their history buttressed the vision of future and attractiveness.
Telling the story
Orca prepared Business Summaries which laid out the strengths and opportunities of each company. They all had solid business fundamentals that Orca showcased.
Orca saw the marketability of these entities, where management had focused more on business fundamentals than “optics”. Ultimately Orca’s vision positioned the owners to complete the transaction they had hoped for with a uniquely optimal partner.
